END Studio

2025 – Current

In 2025, I joined END Studio, a values-driven, woman-owned, boutique architecture studio based in Detroit. I lead marketing initiatives and support the team with business development. Every day, I use my own experience with home renovation and my love for Detroit communities to support Detroit-based architecture projects in both small residential and commercial contexts.

Michigan Community Resources

2017 – 2025

I directed strategic communications and marketing initiatives for Michigan Community Resources, the Detroit-based organization serving nonprofits and grassroots groups with organizational development coaching and consulting, tailored cohort experiences, and pro bono legal guidance. In 2021, MCR established a focus on “Systems Transformation,” reflecting our constituents’ experiences around the need for more equitable access to resources for nonprofits in Southeast Michigan and beyond. I led communications initiatives and partnership development aimed at advocating for “doing things differently” in the nonprofit sector and across our economy.

During my time at MCR, I’m most proud of the launch of our Dovetail brand and programmatic initiative (www.dovetaildetroit.org), the program design and outreach for The Rest and Liberation Initiative, and our ongoing, trailblazing sector leadership on Systems Transformation.

University of Detroit Mercy, Master of Community Development

2017 – 2019

In 2019, I completed my Master of Community Development degree through the University of Detroit Mercy’s School of Architecture and Community Development. My degree culminated in a capstone project on the Nardin Park neighborhood, a westside Detroit community slated for development through the city’s Strategic Neighborhood Fund. The project studied the responses of residents and other stakeholders leading revitalization to the neighborhood’s inclusion in the Strategic Neighborhood Fund and the city’s infusion of resources.

2014 – Current

I established my own consultancy to broaden my skillset and embrace new partnerships. We work to support visionary leaders with effective communications tools to push diverse audiences to think differently and take action.

I've welcomed clients and pro bono projects in copy writing, brand development and strategy, meeting design and facilitation, project management, event planning, key message development, document design, and more.

Outside of work, I am a proud Detroit resident and advocate. I volunteer with rescue dogs. I enjoy walking outside at the Dequindre Cut and car camping at Michigan’s beautiful state parks. I love finding new and fun ways to be creative. My partner and I renovated a historic home for a year before moving in in 2024. The renovation ignited my love for thrifting, thoughtful rehab and reuse, creating fun and unique spaces within a variety of constraints, and being a part of a vibrant, diverse, historic community.

I’m always looking to grow my network in Detroit and beyond.
